Find something you really love to do to fill your leisure hours that does not require spending a lot of money. The love of life is not conditioned upon having a lot of money. There are rich miserable people, believe it or not.

Smarter people don't let equity sit in their home unused. If you have a $100K mortgage, but your house is worth $200K, you could probably get about $80-$100K from the bank with an equity line/refinance/etc.

If you pull out $100K from your house at 5-6%, then INVEST that money for 8% for example, you could use your investment earnings to pay your new mortgage and actually keep the overage for anything you want.

Investors in my company earn 7%-8% on their investment a year, which is a lot more than any savings account will give you these days. I pay most of my investors monthly (some prefer yearly or quarterly), so they get a nice check every month, which is the interest on their investment. Some are on fixed incomes, so it really helps.

You should look into some ways to make your money work for YOU. I'm always on the lookout for interested investors in my company. I use promissory notes, which typically expire after 1-2 years, so some investors return, some go off in search of other things. If your interested, drop me a line. It's great that you have been smart and careful with your money.
Now, you can afford to be a little frivolous. Why not allocate a portion of your income to fun money? From time to time I work a second job and spend most of the money on myself. I do put some of it in investments so I don't feel guilty about it. But the rest is for me! You must like something. Treat yourself to whatever it is. And believe me, if you don't already appreciate the fact that you've got some security, some day you will.
