Yes, and no.

Yes, because he wouldn't admit what he had done, and his repeated denials just made things worse. At that point, not only had he called someone a stupid name, but he made a liar out of himself, as well. That merits a kick in the a**, if you ask me. Besides, you know he'd have blown a gasket if someone had made a derogatory comment -- even in jest -- about his race. Then Al Sharpton would be involved, and the NAACP -- good grief. He should've just kept his mouth shut, and never said it in the first place.

But, no, on the other hand. The whole thing was picked up by the media, and the media, desperate for a story on TV's hottest show, ran with it, and blew it completely out of proportion. It became headline news. Why? Because some guy who plays some guy on some show said something to this other guy that wasn't very nice? Oh, puh-leeze. What a pathetic way to get people to watch "Entertainment Tonight", or "The Insider" or whatever stupid entertainment show. Yeah, it was a dumb thing to say, but it only became dumber once the public started to get involved. This should've been resolved on-set, between the parties involved, and the public should've been left out of it completely. It isn't any of our business.

Yes, because Isaiah Washington shouldn't have repeated it at the Golden Globes and he should have let the question slide. He should know the F-word is derogatory and inappropriate to say at any time to homosexuals. He wouldn't like it if someone called him the N-word. But I do think the media and the cast members are blowing it out of proportion, because everyone sweep the Mel Gibson, Michael Richards "Kramer", and Mark Wahlberg incident away when they offended people. In fact, he may loose his job over it but I don't think he should.

I don't know if he said it the first time or not, but the second time he said it I don't think he meant to offend anybody, he was just restating that he didn't call him what he said he had called him. I think the media is stretching the whole thing too far. If he had actually said it the first time it was supposedly in a personal conversation so it should have stayed between the two, who knows what else was said that day. And i do love homosexuals.

Yes. When you're famous, you need to realize that a higher standard applies. When you go into the public eye, you're saying "I'm worth your adulation." The deal is that you then have to be worth it.

I didn't see him coming out in support of Michael Richards when Richards used the racial slur.

I wasn't giving him Slhitt but he is just being so rude about it. I think it would have been better if he would have just apologized saying that he said that comment in a joking manner and that in no way he meant to offend. he should have apologized once, then dropped it.

He should apologize and shut up. It was forgotten until he brought it up at the Golden Globes and then he made it worse by denying it.

Yes, he would have a different view if that T.R. guy said a racial slur to him, so he shouldn't have said a statement about T.R.'s sexuality.

Yes. It's surprising he still has a job and a career.

Well say it once and it's a mistake keep saying it and that's just stupid. Now I hear that he might even lose his job.
