Madonna's old style was popular in the early to mid 80's. Believe me - I know because I dressed that way! Lace ankle socks, lace gloves, lots of scarves, bright pink pumps. Also, straight leg jeans with ballet flats (ha-ha those are coming back!) Jackets with BIG shoulder pads (think Working Girl with Melanie Griffith), hair and bangs teased up to high heaven, shirts with ruffles on the neck and wrists, Levi's with a "Scoal" ring in the pocket, Oh, lord I have to stop... too many bad fashion memories....

Guys wore lipstick and spandex, girls wore off the shoulder sweats, leg warmers.
