friction is the forse stopping two objects from moving aginst each other. When you roll a marble down an inclined plane (ex. a street that is on a hill) then the marble and the plane will cause friction between them and the marble will roll slower compared to a marble in a world without friction. Then due to friction the marble will lose speed and then sop eventually.

How about Pythagoras' theory of probability? Using marbles, an inclined plane, and a series of staggered baffles in equal columns and rows; when a quantity of marbles is released from the same spot at the top of the plane they will take a predictable path down the inclined plane to form a pyramid. Every time.
