don't believe these greek and bulgarian people, we've always known about their propaganda, since they got huge parts from Macedonia after the Balkan wars.
There is nothing dangerous, actually it's pretty safe for visit. If you ever decide to visit Macedonia, be sure not to miss Ohrid, the best tourist macedonian attraction, with unesco protected lake, old architecture, many old churches (there used to be 365, for every day of the year), it was the place where christianity was introduced, place of the first european slavic university)
by the way, did you know that Mother Theresa was born in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia?

or even better you can visit .It is in the northern part of Greece , just below F.Y.R.O.M. . You can go there if you take a plane to Thessaloníki which is the largest city of the Macedonia region and second largest city of Greece.
