What is too young to get engaged if you love someone

The show should not even be called engaged and underage because most of the people on the show are 21 and over that is not underage. I thought the show was going to be interesting, showing how high school kids would balance school work, planning a wedding, and everyone saying they are way too young. When you are 21 you can drink for Christ's sake how are you underage. People might think you are young but society does not object to it . It seems just like a regular wedding show. It should be called young and engaged but not engaged and underage.

I think they just mean under 18, but parents probably have a different view, like they would want you to experience life more and explore before you get yourself in a relationship/marriage, that might not last and they'll end up having to pay for the divorce.

I really don't know, I think the younger you are (i.e. a teenager ) you really haven't experienced the hardships of life yet. MTV is getting kind of ridiculous with their shows though.
