Its sad to say that we are in 2007 and the media is making a big deal about the first time two black coaches are going to the Superbowl. I just think this shows how much racism still exists in this country, honestly if race was not such an issue they wouldn't even need to mention this. I also feel the same way about women, the first woman to do this and do that. But then people always want to downplay racism and sex discrimination like its not a big issue when it is.

You know this is a great question! I have to agree. While I understand why it is talked about (it is a first). It does show just how far we have not come.

I agree 100% that all the "ism's" are a big deal

i thought it was kind of tacky that the coach mentioned it after they won the game. it kind of took the fun out of the win for a second. i don't think it matters what race the coaches were. the important thing was that they played an awesome game.
