Have you ever wanted to have a Yard Sale to sell some of your stuff? If your answer is "yes," then you're certainly in the right place! This is your one-stop spot for information explaining how to hold a Yard Sale and get it advertised in the Millsberry Gazette.


Setting up your Yard Sale

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First, you can't have a Yard Sale without a yard, right? If you haven't purchased a yard yet, then be sure to visit Peterson's Construction & Hardware Emporium to get at least one patch of yard for your place.
Once you've got a yard, return to Your Place and click on the . This will automatically put a Yard Sale sign in your front yard (so that everyone in Millsberry knows that you're open for business), and allow you to set up your Yard Sale.


Stocking your Yard Sale

Next, go to Your Stuff and select all the things that you want to sell. Although everything in your closet, bookshelf, and basement can be sold, you can't sell anything in your refrigerator or pantry—who would want to buy old food? Some things, such as pets and pet supplies, may not be sold in your Yard Sale.
Once you've decided what you'd like to sell, clicking on the located next to each thing will put it in your Yard Sale. With each selection you make, a pricing window will pop up. The number showing in the window is intended to help you set your price, as it is the same price this object would sell for in a Millsberry store. Since you are selling this merchandise secondhand, however, it would be wise to ask for a lower price. Otherwise, your customers will just buy it brand new in downtown Millsberry rather than from you, right?

If you'd like to change a price, you can go to your Yard Sale Inventory and change the amount that you're charging. Simply change the number in the little box where it says "change price," then click on the "Change Prices!" button.


Advertising your Yard Sale

After you have selected and priced everything for your Yard Sale, you will want to buy a Classified Ad. After all, how is anybody supposed to find out about your Yard Sale unless it's properly promoted? Select how long you want your ad to run from the box below and click "Buy!".

Your ad will now automatically appear in the Classified Ads section of the Millsberry Gazette. Once you've purchased your ad, you may add additional time to your ad's runtime by returning to this page. Please note, however, that no matter how many ads you purchase, additional ads only add on more time—they cannot make your name appear more than once in the Classified Ads section.


Ending your Yard Sale

If you ever want to stop your Yard Sale for any reason, simply click the at Your Place. This will immediately return your stuff to your inventory.

And the place to go to add a yard is in the hardware store. There will be something that you will immedieately see. Add a room. There, you can add a yard. But if you already have a yard. Then outside of your house, scroll down. There will be something that says Start Yardsale. And to advertise your yard sale, go to this link...

You need a yard for your home? Just go to the Hardware store and then click on Add A room. it should be at the top of the store. You will see a pic. of your house. Click on an EMPTY space to build your yard/Garden. It cost 2500. Click what u wanna name it.
Or go to The Millsberry Homepage. Go to the very bottom. It should say something 'bout advertising your yardsale or something similar to that.
Don't know How to visits yard Sales?
At the top there is a skybluish rectangualr box. Type in a username. There should be a list of names IF it exsists.
Visit their house and YardSales.

To set up your millsberry Yard Sale:

You purchase a square of yard for your home (which can be purchased at the Hardware Store http://www.millsberry.com/shop.phtml?shop_id=8 . When you visit the hardware store do the following:
1. "Add a Room" http://www.millsberry.com/construction/ and your home will be displayed as a grid.
2. Select one of the empty squares and you will get the option to add a room to your home.
3. Select the room of type "Yard".
4. When prompted to build the room with the reminder that it costs 2500 MB, click OK/YES (Sorry don't remember which one).

The room will be automatically built for you.

Once this is done, click on "My Place" and http://www.millsberry.com/home/ and you will see a button that says Yard Sale. Click on that button and you will open your own yard sale. The screen will refresh and will show a "Yard Sale" sign in front of your house.

Then when you go to your "My Stuff" or your closet you will see a Yard Sale sign. Clicking that sign allows you to add items to your yard sale.

Just one thing to keep in mind. When building your yard you can build in any available square on the 1st floor. Other types of rooms can only be built on the 9 'inner' squares.

To find yardsales do the following:
1. Go to Millsberry
2. Click on Classifieds(it is toward the bottom of the gazette page)
3.Pick a neighborhood
4. type an item (like "golden ring") into the box
5. Keep clicking "more results" until something shows up.
6. If you have clicked on it more than ten times ten and no1 shows up, that means that no one has that item in their sale in that neighborhood.
7. If you keep clicking "more results" and get the same name twice then stop searching that item because that means you have seen all the sales that contain that item in that neighborhood.
8. If YOU want to get YOUR sale in the classifieds, go to the millsberry gazette(home page). Click on "Advertise your yardsale". You have to pay some money. Start selling items to make more millsbucks! You may reach a million if you do really good!

They cost 600 Millsbucks. After that has been down go to your house and the yard you wan to put it in. You cant put them in rooms Such as your bedroom,kitchen den......

Once you have entered the room Scroll back and forth until you have found the item once you have found it drag it to the desinated place! Now you have put grass in your yard! There is no need of buying it b/c its already put there when you buy a hard
