Is anyone else totally bored with the big brother hype?

Its getting boring now....of course there isn't anything more important going on in the world!

In a word YES. the whole racism argument has been overblown completely although I do accept some of the remarks and gestures could be interpreted as such. I really don't think the people accused of it honestly have any idea quite how their behaviour has caused such controversy. Channel4 obviously love all this hype extra viewers/more people texting/phoning etc and are maximising press coverage of it. Of course there are much more important things in the world going on but at the moment the racism card is the card to play to gain maximum exposure prior to this it was the homophobic card. We live in a very unfair and unjust world and it really isn't practically possible to ask everybody to live in peace and harmony when religion is the main cause of the terrorist threats and wars we face to day we can only hope that we extend a little more tolerance and understanding to our fellow man.

I'm not so much bored by it as despairing. Things happened on the programme that happen in everyday life and being reminded of that was very uncomfortable: downright nasty actually. There are serious lessons there to be learned by everyone, but what has really driven me wild is the sanctimonious, politically safe drivel spouted by people who have probably never seen a complete episode.

People expressing opinions before they know the full facts is something else that happens in everyday life and makes me feel very uncomfortable.

i am a massive b b fan but this has put me off altogether, i think the term is 'car crash TV'? we had enough of jade the first time round and to have her in the news every day whining and crying cos she's been caught bullying a second time is just too much. all the damage limitation speeches in the world wont help her this time. and whats happened to Cleo? has she undergone a personality transplant? she never had a word to say when jade was in the house and now she has a vendetta with dirk! maybe she's cottoned on that bad publicity is good publicity ?!! lol!!!

I know you are right...but i can't help that I have enjoyed this last week.

I have worked for many years to try and tell people that racism is not just using bad words or attacking people physically. It is the sort of racism that is hidden which does so much damage. I know someone who tried to commit suicide because she had taken the sort of treatment Shilpa had over years and years in her workplace.

You are right...there are more important stories in the world...but isn't being decent human beings important too?

Erm....i think of there is going to be a huge Brother 2009, is it the final one? vast brother has a definite nostalgia for me; I undergo in innovations being on learn depart from college with vast brother a million survive television for the duration of the day interior the background as I studied.

yes it is the most boring brother i have watched,what with the jade goody thing etc, sick of hearing it now let it drop now,
now the housemates are ignoring Cleo now esp the girls,
as she is about the only sensible one in there at moment i only watch it now and again as its so booooooring zzzzz
there is no fun in this one at all,id rather watch paint dry haha, bring in some fun ,well a bit too late now cleo to win
