If you are seriously telling your spouse that then yes, that is totally wrong! Why would you want him/her to engage in sex with another person? We as humans are not perfect, but in my mind a person should want to know what they can do to please their partner. By just telling him/her to go get it from somebody else that means you don't care or you have given up. Furthermore, whether or not you give him/her your approval to do this it is called adultery. Put a little effort into your marriage and try to find ways to improve your marriage not throw it away.

This is something that should be discussed before you are in a serious relationship with someone. I married a man a few years ago, then soon he started pushing a swinger lifestyle on me that I was not comfortable with. It ended it eventually and I would never had married him if he had told me beforehand, because different strokes for different folks, right?

In God's book it is, and that's the book I take my cues from.
Marriage is intended to be between two people. A third person in the middle of the marriage (even if it's only physical) breaks the bond, the trust, and makes a lie of the marriage.

No it isn't wrong to ask, but it is wrong to pressure or bring it up again if your spouse says no.
I brought it up to my husband. We talked about it, researched it, and then decided that it wasn't for us.

If you have to depend on another person to satisfy your sexual needs, then there is really no need to continue with the marriage. With that said, yes, it is very wrong!
