Uh US will qualify... The chances of them not qualifying is about 1%... Were in the weakest continent. You will definetly know by Nov 2009. But most likely you will know whether US qualifed by August 2009.

If you are going simply to watch the US you will be dissapointed.
Addition- I am not ripping on the US (maybe only a little), just saying that there is a lot more at a World Cup to experience.
