That takes courage but I admire you for your integrity and self-respect. Did you come up with that saying or did someone else say it? Dr. Phil? There's a lot of truth in that little nugget. I've struggled with being a "people-pleaser" all my life, but your philosophy is the only way to go. You are the man!

I'm not a fake person either but people hardly love me for it. But even being hated by most is better then being fake in my book!

For girls especially these days, if you smile and keep your feelings and thoughts inside most girls will call you "fake" but if you tell people what you think, no matter how nicely you say it you're called a "*****"
And from personal experience, i'd rather be called a ***** than keep everything bottled up like that.
Theres a way to say what you feel without being bitchy but if i'm gonna be called that...so be it.

i've got self assurance there are situations whilst human beings could desire to objective to compromise with a view to no longer be hated by skill of actually everyone. If it extremely is purely some people who hate you however, particular I agree. for example a xenophobe could desire to truly compromise to slot in with present day society. yet a non-xenophobe shouldn't could desire to faux to be a xenophobe to slot in with a xenophobe filled society.

I always try to remind myself of this... It's my life and I am the one who has to live in it. Would you rather spend your time worrying about what othe people think about you, or what you think about yourself? A famous quote by Jean-Paul Sartre, "Hell is other people."
