There was the case of a fan mailing herself to the Monkees in the 1960s. I remember the news story about it, and here is a link to an interview where the band talks about it.
To better answer your question, I think it is illegal.
To answerer "Jeffpsd"...yes, you can mail animals. I get baby chicks in the mail every spring. Just thought you might like to know. :)

Ummmm like that would be a NO, unless they were dead, and then you'd be pulled into a police station and locked up. Just a little story here...I used to work for TSA (at an airport checkpoint) and some person brought through a skull (that would be a human skull) and had some REAL problems due to this. What it was from was a University and this person was a scientist/doctor of some sort and was going somewhere to purportedly give a lecture. I will tell you nobody around that day will EVER try to carry a human bone anyplace with them again. LOL

A midget will not cost as much as a regular people. The package will be more compact and there may be a discount if the human is shorter than 4'. Double check with your local post office.

No, you can't send live animals either. Maybe a dead human, as long as it's cremated. Postal rates the way they are, it would cheaper for a human by far to fly. You planning something?

I think someone got arrested for that once. Some guy tried to ship himself in a crate.
I would not recommend trying this especially if it/you have to fly anywhere. Cargo area would not be a pleasant ride.
