Let me start out by saying that I DO NOT want a work at home job, but I was curious to know something....

Without giving a specific company name, has anyone ever had a great experience with a Work-at-Home company?

Again, please, no company names. I want a little honesty, not a sales pitch.

Only with the latest thing I do because my efforts will last a life time. I've tried several and sometimes you have to go through some of them before you find the right one and lose money and time. So Yes, now I am having a great experience.

I work from home, but right now I am only diong it very part time. I am successful, depending on what you measure success by. I help a lot of families and that is why I do this business. The founder of our company really does believe what we do is for the good of people and if he did not make a cent, he would still do it and I feel the same way. If you do decide to look for something from home, it must be something you believe in or you will have a hard time having a great experience!

Here's my honest answer (taken from my personal experience): Most "work-at-home" companies make money for people that are higher up on the ladder (or payscale) then those that are just beginning. Plus what you get out of the company is what you'll put into it. In other words, you can't just stay home and expect the cash to come flowing....you have to get out there and market yourself/your product to others so that they buy from you. You will end up investing a lot of money to get your "home-based" business off the ground and work even harder to see a profit.

My newspaper had an article about it on Sunday. You can work as a customer service rep if you have a dedicated phone line. They named LiveOPs from Palo Alto, CA, www.arise.com, www.alpineaccess.com and www.workathomeagent.com
They pay $6-$8.50 an hour but you decide when you work
If they want your money to give you a job it's probably a scam. See snopes.com

I work from home with a company that manufactures products that we’re already buying elsewhere, but they are better, safer & healthier. We just help set up customer accounts and the company pays us to do so. We set our own hours and work as little or as long as we want. It is a wonderful opportunity and has really benefited our family. You are welcome to email me for more information.

I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and one of them made me $494+ in October, $700+ in November, and $838.57 in December. They are free to join.

My wife tried it - three different plans, we wound up in the red. I wouldn't say they held a gun to our head but they were very close to robbery.
