( I think) they call her Hannah Montana is because Montana rymes with Hannah. Hope I could help.

Uhhh...it's the name of the CHARACTER she plays on a lousy TV show of the same name. I'm sure she didn't have anything to say about the name of the character or the show. It's a rhyming name, to make it easy for little kids to remember it. By the way, "Hannah Montana" isn't any worse as a name than "Miley".

The only reason she goes my Hannah Montana is because of her Disney TV show.
And Miley Cyrus isn't even her real name. It's Destiny Hope Cryus. Her dad started calling her "Smiley Miley" and that stuck.

miley just goes by hannah montana cuzmit is the name of one of characters on her show hannah montana. she is from tennessee. her name isnt really miley either it is destiny hope cyrus. she got miley cuz her dad alwayz saw her smiling when she wuz a baby and called her smiley miley i guess it stuck! i think she is pretty kewl!

She's not from Montana, she's from Tennessee. And yes, it is a very cheesy name. That's one of the reasons i don't like her, she is so kidish even though she's my age. most of her fans are little kids. She is so lame.
