If you found 100 dollars on the floor, would you be happy?
If you had absoultely no money, would you be unhappy, why do people pursuit money so much?
How much do you vaule your material things? If you lost everything and became a begger in the streets, would you be happy?
Is donald trumpt happy? The guy who has a 20 year old wife and is rich like crazy? Hes always smiling so much in his pictures.
Lemme also ask this differently, is money required to gain happiness? Can you achieve happiness without any money at all? Meaning absoultely NO MONEY! can you achieve happiness?

I remember hearing about a fellow who prayed and asked God not to make him so rich as to forget God, and not make him so poor as to become embittered.
Money is necessary for life (unless perhaps you are a survivalist, and even he'd need to be able to buy a few things at least in the beginning).
I think money as the object of life cannot make us happy. nor spending madly so everyone knows how beautiful or rich you are. You don't know what's beneath the smiles. And a lot of what we hear in the media is that most of the marriages don't last.
There is a difference between pleasure, which money can buy, and happiness, which a sufficient amount to ensure a wholesome life can contribute to, but even then not buy.

No, I don't think money can buy happiness, nor is it necessary for happiness.
Happiness is something we ourselves decide on. I've never been rich, but for the most part I've been reasonably happy. That includes times when I didn't know if I'd have enough to make it to the end of the month, while raising two kids. Somehow we always made it, though.
I particularly like what the apostle Paul wrote near the end of his letter to the church in Philippi: " . . . I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secrt of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." (Philippians 4: 12,13 NIV)
To my mind, money can't buy happiness, but I'll concede that it does at least give options.

Happy, if I lost everything? No, for I am diabetic. But I am intrinsically happy. Bad things have happened to me, and still will, I am certain, but in the end, I am happy.
Money is not required, no, but money can certainly make like easier...not an obscene amount, for then you must spend so much time protecting it and nursing it, rather than nuturing your personal relationships.
I don't think The Donald is happy....at least, not my version of it.

Don't know, no one has ever tried to sell me happiness before; yes; yes; because they need to buy things; I value material things because I like them; no; don't know; don't know; no; yes; and yes. Whew, a lot of questions.
Money isn't everything, but it allows you to buy material things that make you happier. Happiness is a state of mind, where you look at yourself and everything that you value (family, love, material things, enjoyable job), and you are content with what you see. Some people are not content even with their money, others use money to buy material things and are truly happy about it (suspect Trump is one of these), and others have an empty stomach and can still find happiness. Personally, I believe money (at least bare essentials) is important, but I wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice money to ENJOY LIFE. After all, that is why we work hard for our money.

I absolutely believe money can bring happiness. At least for the short run. We all need some material things to survive. How much happiness money brings is a direct result of how materialistic one is, what your responsibilities are and what you view are your necessities. What money can not bring is a sense of fulfilment and peace of mind.

Yes and no. With out money to support your family and live in poverty does not bring one happiness. It brings famine, diseases, and much heartache. Having to much money does not bring one happiness, a person with millions can have anything they want. Eventually they grow tired of it and move on to something else. Having my bills paid and food on the table to feed my family, and clothe my family makes me happy, but that is just part of it. Love is what brings me the most happiness.

No, money does not buy happiness. It may buy you other physical things that make it easier for some people to be feel some emotion they call happiness, but true happiness is not related to money or other physical things. It must emanate from within, grounded in higher things than the transitory trappings of this world.

i think money will make you comfortable and have only momentary happines but no JOY. As long as there someonle to love there is always happines no matter what, even if you live only in a blanket in a street but with 10 people there is happines.It is not how much you do but how much love you put in the doing-Mother Teresa.

Money can and never will buy happiness !!!
It will buy you comfort and maybe you can be happy while your sitting under the sun on a beach somewhere with everyone at your beck and call...that is short term
I have been at both ends and everything is the same, same old same old.......
