I recently lost a close family member and it just hits me how hard it seems for other people to talk to me about it, mention it or even show sympathy.
I have talked to someone about this and that person have had the same experiences as myself.

Death is the unknown and least spoken of subject there is. People don't know how to react when a friend or acquaintance has a death of a loved one. They are afraid to say the wrong thing so sometimes they say nothing or avoid the situation. It is not to hurt you in any way. They do not know that all you need is a hug and some understanding. Keep your chin up and I am sending you a hug.

First of all let me say I am sorry for your loss. People are afraid to talk about it because they are afraid of upsetting those who have lost someone. They don't want to say the wrong thing, or cause any more pain.
