Will he be in the rotation, will he be on the MLB club, will he get traded? Does he have a MLB future?

I say he will be in the Cubs Rotation. He has quite a bit of potential to be a good starter. The thing that worries me is that Ted Lilly guy the Cubs signed. I just hope the wind is blowing in when he pitches at home. I still think the Cubs need 1 more good starter!! They have the bats but the pitching staff is a concern. I'll never understand why Larry Rothschild still has a job!!!!!

Well if Prior gets the last spot in the rotation there's no room for Marshall, which is too bad, I thought he pitched well enough before his injury. Smart money is he starts in AAA (not b/c he deserves to, but b/c he still has options, which is how a lot of decisions get made nowadays). Then when Prior falls off a ladder, slams his pitching hand in a car door or gets pinkeye, Marshall will take his place.

He has promise but he won't be on the Cubs this year. Rumor has it he was headed to Washington for Ryan Church.

Hard to say, it all depends on how he does in spring training. 2nd year players tend to put pressure on themselves to repeat last year's performance.

I think it's best asked how will he do in his 2nd year.

He does have a future...somewhere.
