Well the guys probably get very excited to see the cheerleaders but i dont really think either of those things peps up the crowd, i mean they help and all but the thing that gets people into the game is the people playing, the team out there, when there winning its very exciting and so are close games

No questions its the players, nothing pumps people up like there favorite team killing a rival. And especially when they start a huge scoring run and a team favorite just comes down the floor, and hits a 3. I love it when Bargnani, just gets the ball when the raps start to pull away, and hits a huge 3. And when the player, it lets say fouled hard, and he might fall into the crowed, then he looks up and waves his arms to the crowed to get up, they love it. Cheerleaders and mascots dunt do that much, compared to what the players do.

I think most credit has to go to the student section. But nothing gets the crowd going more than great play on the court.

I think the basketball team does because if they are doing bad people don't get pumped up very much but if they are doing good, the crowd goes nuts!
