Hanley Ramirez will miss the rest of the Dominican winter league season because of a left shoulder strain, according to the AP. He'll be put on a shoulder-strengthening program, and he's expected to be ready for spring training.

He's an outstanding young talent, and especially exciting for Marlins' fans or for fantasy owners who draft him. I think he could improve on last year's numbers even, as he matures.

He's feeling better. He actually wanted to go back to playing winter ball, but the Marlins wouldn't let him. He should be fine for the season.
