Just curious, and if so is it because of religious reasons, looks or just don't want to part with it?

My neighbor's is still up and it's lighted, too.

My live Christmas tree is still up but is now outside in a large pot,
(It's roots are still on it.)
The ordiments are now gone but I plan on adding some natural ordiments that the birds will like Example a string of berries, and pine cones smothered with peanut butter and covered in seeds.

If yours is up, please don't light any matches.
I put mine outside (years ago when I lived in Baltimore) and it stayed green and held it's needles for several months on the back porch. I'd missed the tree pickup date. It looked really pretty out there with snow on it, but I finally started worrying about the neighbors and got rid of it.

I don't celebrate Christmas, but we put up a tree anyways because my Mom thinks they look pretty. We took it down 2 days after Christmas.

No, we always take it down January 1'st, along with the rest of our Christmas ornaments, and decorations.

Yes, and it's sad and embarrassing. I've got to take it down this week. I'm scared the thing is going to spontaneously combust now!
