I have used Lloyd's test before and it has been spot on! I don't see the need to pay almost double the price. If your pregnant (or not) then the result will still be the same. The best time of day to do test is first pee of the day, i know most of them say anytime of day but the hcg hormone levels you have when you are pregnant are highest at this time. I have been pregnant 5 times and have used most brands of tests, even one for 99p in a Savers shop that was definitely accurate and my 19 month old son is living proof. Anyway the top named brands can still come up with an inaccurate result. Good Luck!!

RE:
Has anyone used the Lloyds pregnancy test & found it accurate or should I buy a more expensive test?

I haven't ever heard of the Lloyds pregnancy test but have taken tests from the Dollar Tree(everything is a dollar) and had very accurate results(as well has my sister-in-law) So the cost of the test doesn't neccessarily mean anything.

Hi I've always used predictor pregnancy test. These come single or in sets of two, there also inexpensive. It doesn't matter what the cost is if your definitely pregnant all test's will say the same. If your still not sure which test to use your family clinic will test you for free. Or go to a chemist and they'll do one for you. Hope this helps and good luck!

I got the First Response - sold in Boots for £10.95 for 2 tests. This is one of the best tests available and they are cheap!
I did a Lloyds test last Wednesday and it was negative, I did the First Response test Sunday it was positive. It can measure down to 12.5MIU of the hormone required. This was definitly worth it, and it was actually cheaper!

this is a funny question...they are accurate but only when you get a good one...a lot of products in dollar stores are closeout items, some may be defective and some are okay when my sis was pregnant we decided to do a test on them and try and figure out how accurate they are since she took one and it told her negative but when she bought a walmart brand one, it was positive and she was pregnant and now with a 1 year old...anyways...we bought 10 test at the dollar store...3 out of the 10 told her she was pregnant but the other 7 told her no...
