please can pros out there tell me which torrent client is the best. and best site for downloading. i got azureus at the moment and downloading of torrentspy. thanx.

Azureus is good, it's among the most fully featured and mature torrent clients around, but I eventually switched away from it because it's a massive resource hog, sucking down loads of CPU cycles and RAM for no reasons, especially if you leave it running for long periods of time. It's a fairly common problem with software written in Java and many people complain of the same thing when running Azureus. Luckily though there's a client called uTorrent that has pretty much the exact same feature set of Azureus but it tiny in comparison, it's only a 170KB download and it *never* goes mad and starts sucking down RAM randomly. Basically I've never looked back since making the switch and I'm thoroughly pleased with it, never finding anything it couldn't do or any reason to complain about it.

As for torrent sites, I use TorrentSpy frequently along with a couple of member-only trackers (Demonoid and Oink mostly), but there's a few others I dip into now and again:

I have used several clients and I always end up coming back to uTorrent... it's the fastest one I've found with the least ads and annoyances.
I mostly use www.thepiratebay.org and www.torrentspy.com

bit comet is quite good.
it searches for torrents on loads of sites like torrentspy and thepiratebay.
