I'm an animal lover! Just in case I start getting abuse ;-)

I'm just curious? What is the price people are willing to put on a puppy's head?

Me? I couldn't do it for any amount of money, the guilt would be to much.
I've heard a lot of people say they would use the money to pay an animal charity. I'm wondering if you lot think that one puppy life is worth thousands of puppy lives?

No way - not if he's an innocent puppy.

However, if he were to be found guilty...............

I'm a total animal lover and I have dogs, cats and horses of my own so no abuse please..........but vets get paid every day to put puppy's down they may be very ill but they are still "innocent" and also if animal shelters are totally full to the brim I've known places that put down old dogs and puppy's of Rotti/Shepard mixes and bull terrier mixes because they are hard even as pups to re home. Yes it's cruel but that's how it is. I don't agree with it at all.I also know of a family who had their 6month old boarder collie put down because it snapped at there brat of a child, they shouldn't of had a dog in the 1st place let alone a collie because it never got walked and it was constantly terrorised by the brat from hell. So they are the worst of all because they PAID someone to kill their dog!

Why all this sentimentality? And what is the moral justification for killing a spider but not a puppy? It's the same reason people moan about fox hunting, just because foxes are seen as attractive cuddly things. They're not really, you know. If the hunters were chasing rats, nothing would be said. You really have to use a bit of common sense instead of sentiment. If any animal needed putting down through ill health or injury, I'd do it, but not for fun or money.

I'm so sick of your wimpy sissy vegitarian no nothings...you all have the same lame answer..no I couldn't "plus I'm a vegetarian. NOONE ASKED YOU TO EAT THE PUPPY!!!!
And being a such doesn't make you the MORAL standard of right.
Bottom Line, a good person, wouldn't kill a puppy for money. Doesn't matter the price. What does matter is the Reason. If it is a sick puppy that is BEYOND Resonable help, then it must be put down, then I'd say so be it.....Sometimes life sucks and it just has to be dealt with. But to MURDER a puppy for money, now thats just SICK.
And Veggie People......SHUT UP.......

Now dont get me wrong I hate to admit I have been a part of it but being a vet tech sometimes you have to put innocent puppies down because irresponsible owners dont give them their shots and they get parvo and then the owners dont want to spend hundreds of dollars to treat it so we have to put down an innocent puppy. Also at another clinic we took in eleven 3 month old border collie pups and didnt have room for them so we had to put some of them to sleep. we had only room for three of them and the vet that was working could only take 3 with her. It was so sad and we all three were crying because someone had left these puppies out in the wild. They were full of burrs and malnurished and everything. We probably would have been able to save more but our vet at our clinic had just passed away and we didnt have the room or the means to house all of the stray puppies. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. And the local animal shelter wouldnt take the others. We called all the other vets in town and shelters and no one would take them. We tried to save as many as we could but it was during Spring Break and our kennels were full to capacity and when no one would help out we had no other options. The feeling of guilt and, in the cases of irresponsible owners, anger is more than any one should ever have to deal with. If you dont feel anything when you take away an innocent dogs life you are a sad person who needs help. Working in the vet field you have to deal with it a lot but that doesnt mean you dont feel anything when you do it.

There's a bunch of people doing that daily... those working at overrun animal shelters. Everyday, too many innocent puppies get sent to the shelters, and the only way to deal with it, is to kill them... i.e. humanely euthanised. Or else, they would either suffer growing up in an overcrowded shelter, or be released on the street as a stray.

I would never kill an innocent animal. I am not only an animal lover, but a very strict vegetarian. Morally, I couldn't justify ending the life of a living, sentient being.

Being an owner of 2 collie crosses and having them both from pups, there is no way I could kill a pup, money is not everything and not being a materialistic person, the unconditional love from animals is more important to me than money..
