I don't know, because we do not benefit form them joining Europe, because who wants to work in Romania or Poland were their rate of pay is so much lower than ours. They however benefit from us greatly because they can learn a useful language by coming to Britain and earn a hell of a lot more than they could in their own country. I don't think they should be allowed to join the European Union and it quite disgusting they came over and work in Britain and take the money back to their country. What do they give Britain in return, nothing. Old Europe was great because it consited of richer countries and languages which we were taught at school, or at least are useful to us.
Why has Britain supported the inclusioin of Eastern European countries, because we have an idiot running the country.

Britain and the British people, had absolutely no choice in the matter. The resolution would have been passed with or without our support. The other European states approved it, so it is better that we make some`pretence` of agreement and avoid all the social and political backlash which would have followed. Please understand, we have no choice in anything that Europe decides, the countries in Europe `stick` to-gether, and we will be forever out-voted by them. They are Europeans, they think alike and do alike. We are not Europeans and it will be many many generations before we are. We have been a secular people on an island for too long; we are not used to being ordered about by `foreigners` and having to conform to strange foreign ways.

Just seems to be communism disguised as federalism. There seems to be a need to spread the money in europe around evenly. So to put it bluntly, we're f**ked.

There is a limit and yea, a lot of brits wont work for minimum wage. But the minimum wage is going to go down becuase of the 600,000 we got just from poland. Maybe the government shouldn't put so much focus on every school leaver going to univeristy. They could just learn a trade and earn twice as much as a graduate. But instead the eastern europeans have filled that gap.

Yes, because of money plain and simple.

Although i agree with social sciences lady on many of her points i strongly disagree that it will take many gernerations before Britains become Europeans. The wheels have been set in motion for one of the biggest PR campaigns in history to change the thoughts of the Brits regarding European entry.

Unfortunately, people are very easily controlled by the means of deception that our ministry of information concocts and i believe that within 10 years we will be flying the European flag.

I dont want any part of it. Fundamentally, there will too much power in a few hands....those of multi nationals who care not for the people.
