if your DSL light is flashing then that doesnt mean your 210 is faulty, the DSL light indicates the broadband signal coming into the house.

make sure you have microfilters on every used phone socket in the house, if you have, try swapping them around. a regular telephone extension may be dropping the signal, so if you have one connected i would advise that you disconnected it.

if you have tried swapping microfilters and removed extension cables then the final thing you can do is try to connect at the test socket, if you remove the two screws from your master socket you should have a test socket behind the master socket. try connecting to this. if you can maintain a dsl light and connect to the internet fine then there is a problem with the internal wiring in your house. if you connect to the test socket and still cannot maintain a connection then it will be a fault with the line, in which case you would have to speak to BT.

Check your phone junction box that the filter plugs into, because of wear n tear over the years the terminals inside get worn and can kind of short without you knowing, try this, take the front cover off your phone junction box, then plug your filter directly into the socket that is behind the cover, try it for a couple of days if it dont go off get bt of whoever you got phone account to come and change the box, or buy a diy kit. it worked for me not gone offline since
