I don't know if that could occur so suddenly! All I know is, I was driving the car around just fine. I stopped to get gas, put in the nozzle and gas came POURING out at the bottom. I thought it wast nozzle that did that, so 1 of Chevron employee tried to pump gas for me at the next pump. The same thing occured. Now, my father (500 miles away) thinks it must be the nozzle because there's no way the tank can have a hole that huge over such a short period time (without any noticeable impact). So, I'm towing my car home (to be safe). What should I do?

Thank you all for your answers, maybe except the "light-a-match" idea.
I do agree with the general concensus, that it is a faulty fuel filler (hose?). My car is a Totoya Camry 2000. It's now sitting at the shop. Does anyone know how much it'd generally cost to replace the filler? I'd like to know at least in the ballpark so the mechanics can't BS me.
