Darkness is enveloping like the cold mist of of the sea, wrapping it's tendrils around everything sucking the warmth from it's existence.
Anger is a like a hot intense fire, the flames licking out to strike out against any that venture too close, consuming the oxygen around stealing the breath from those nearby.

I don't do drugs, but some times what helps me to write is if i "pretent" that i'm tripping on LSD. And since it's a dark metaphor, try to imagine what a bad trip would be like.
Darkness is the beginning and the end of time itself,
Inside the crack of an extended bookshelf.
Something like that.

Darkness is the womb,
Darkness is the human heart,
Darkness is a moonless night.
Darkness is the pause between her short breaths
Death is like a knife, cutting life short.
Death is blissful release.
Death is end of the journey we call life.
Death is a withered rose clutched in a skelton's hand.
Anger is the death of peace.
Anger is the little death of words exchanged.
Anger is fear of what we do not know.
Anger is loss of our true self as we fall out of the groove of understanding....
Well, that's 4 of each.

The darkness in your heart is like a dark chasm filled with emptiness. Death is like the pain of losing your wife. Anger is like rage, never leaving.

Darkness is a sweet, soft pillow drenched in tears.
Death is the underground bed with plywood as a dish for the maggots.
Anger is unchanneled power and the bitterness of lost love.
But I´m just throwing words together. :)

darkness is.. sorrow--a city without hope-a childs sence of fear -a dream of hope fading away.
death is... a new beginning ..the end of physical limitatations.. being part of Gods collective soul..meeting all those who've gone before
anger is.. rage in response to pain, an option to crying, screaming for vengence.desperate loss of humility

So you are not actually "writing" a poem. You are "assembling" a poem...from parts obtained from the minds & imaginations of others. I hope you don't plan on claiming it as your own work of literature when you are finished.
