When the AFC and NFC championship games and the Super Bowl are finished, the winning teams get hats and shirts immediately after the game that say "Champions" and their name and logo. Logically, they make "Champion" hats and shirts for both teams. I'd assume they destroy the losing teams items. But are there some that don't get destroyed and are there any out there to see or buy?

They do not get destroyed.

They get donated to charity organizations who distribute them in Third World countries.

Companies may say they are doing it for the right reasons but they are doing it for the charity tax write-off. These apparel companies don't just throw away and waste inventory.

There are kids walking around in Africa around with "Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks" t-shirts.

I truthfully have constantly questioned this and replaced into conversing approximately it the different day after the video games, my superb guess is they actually basically make sufficient for the group and coaches and then they print whichever ones could be revealed all during the evening. that doesn't extremely answer the question yet i think of possibly in the event that they are only throwing them out, it extremely is extremely no longer that lots of them.

I've heard they get donated to people in developing countries who really don't care that the team whose logo they are wearing didn't really win.
