Asian is not defined by who uses chopsticks and who doesn't. Asians are the people of Asia. However, when talking about the Asian RACE, the Middle East is not included as Asian. Sometimes South Asians (Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan) are also grouped together, because their features are quite different from East and Southeast Asians, which most people think of when someone refers to "Asians".
Filipinos are Asians (the Philippines is in Southeast Asia), but it is interesting to note their associations and connections to Latin Americans. Because the Spanish once ruled the Philippines, Filipino culture is a mix of Spanish and Asian culture. Sometimes in America, Filipinos are mistaken for Hispanics.

As someone else already stated, the Philippines is in the South East Asia Sea...so yes, that would make those of Philippine descent Asian.
I eat with chopsticks too, but I am not Asian, so your definition is not exactly correct.

Filipino's are from Philippines and Philippines are in South East Asia.
Not all Asians eat with chopsticks. Most Filipino's eat with cuttleries except those who were born in poverty.
Unless you have had racist remark before I don't understand why some peoples remark a bit harsh.

Asians are people from ASIA, meaning Arabs, Indians, Chinese...so YES, Filipinos are Asian.
They are more akin to Cambodians and Laotian who are darker Asians (like Chinese not Iraqi).
I don't know if they eat with chop sticks. All the Asians I know are from California and eat with forks.

Some Philipinos are Asian it all depends on their parents.
I am French Canadian, because of my father, I am also Slovak, because of my mother.
