All Ipod Videos are capable of video playback.
3 Ipod Classifications:
1. Ipod video
2. Ipod nano
3. Ipod shuffle
If you don't plan on watching videos, then save your money by buying the nano. Consider the 8GB nano so it'll allow for expansion as your music collection grows.
If you really want to save more money, then try the "refurbished" units. It costs less and works great and is covered by the Apple warranty.

No, it signifies that the participant will bypass in stand by technique of mode after the stated playback hours. The no. of songs that 30Gb can carry matter upon varios factors like the format, type of,bit cost, freq and so on. many times, yur 30 Gb can carry about 5000 Mp3's. And finally, bypass for the horny-as-hell black version.

I have a 30 GB, yes it does play videos.
Yet, those videos have to be in an mp4 format. So if you download videos online, make sure they're in mp4 format, otherwise your iPod won't play them.

Yes, as long as the 30 GB is a video, you can watch videos. I do it all the time.
Hope this helps!
