How did the American people get tricked into believing showing our soldiers coming back dead is distasteful? Why isn't how they died or why they died distasteful. Is something only distasteful when you show it? Is that what makes this war in Iraq o.k.? We can't see it? Are the American people really that shallow? Can it be possible? Are we all doomed to be Republican?

Slow down there. Not showing the American Flag draped coffins of dead military personnel, is something the government instituted at the request of other families who had their loved one(s) killed from previous wars. It's not a government policy, although it certainly seems like it also is good for the war mongers of the world like Bush, etc.

♥ ♥ I dont think it is the least bit distasteful.... we should be proud to live in a country that people are willing to die for our way of life.... I am very honored to say that my father was one of those and seeing the flag on his coffin is one thing I will NEVER forget or disrespect ..♥ ♥
