It depends on the kind of surgery you had.

Also breastfeeding implies more than just the infant receiving breastmilk. You can breastfeed even with no milk, the bonding and comfort will still happen.

Can I breastfeed with implants?
It's likely, but it depends on the kind of surgery you had. Incisions made under the fold of the breast or through the armpit shouldn't cause any trouble. The most popular method, making a "smile" incision around the areola, puts you at greater risk for problems.

If the nerves around the areola were not cut or damaged during surgery, you may be able to nurse fully or partially. Nerves are vital to breastfeeding because they trigger the brain to release prolactin and oxytocin, two hormones that affect milk production. Your chances of breastfeeding also improve if your milk duct system is intact.

There's no evidence that silicone from silicone implants leaks into breast milk, but even if it did, it probably wouldn't harm your baby. Silicone is very similar to a substance used to treat babies' stomach gas.

Solution:
You won't know the full extent of nerve damage — if any — until you try to nurse.

Let your baby's doctor know about your surgery. She'll need to keep a close eye on your baby's weight gain to make sure he's getting enough to eat.

If you're able to produce only a portion of the breast milk your baby needs, you'll need to supplement with formula.

If the implant is done thru the nipple then no, as it overlies the relevant tissue. If it goes in underneath or via an icision in the armpit then it should lie under the relevant parts. My wife had implants after our second child, via an incision in the fold underneath the breasts and successfully breastfed our (unplanned) third child. Discuss thoroughly with the surgeon beforehand, and avoid the flashy ones with lots of advertising such as the Harley Medical Group. We used a Nuffield-based surgeon in Brighton who has an excellent reputation by the name of Andrew Yelland and were extremely happy and felt very secure.

It depends on how large the implants are and if they are obstructing your milk glands. Usually women are able to make milk it's just a question of is it enough. The real problem is people who have breast reductions they can't lactate at all!

Check out the La Leche League. They are great and will be more helpful.

I would think it would but it something that you would need to ask a professional about because I had a breast reduction and I couldnt breast feed so if you had something added I doubt you would be able to breast feed.

Breast Implants Surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

It depends on a lot of things. The type of implants, how long it's been in, etc. etc. I would ask my doctor about this. He would know more and would maybe be able to guide you in a way that you possibly could.
