Did you or someone else file a claim with an insurance company? Apparently, it's not an issue any more, so don't worry about it.

It appears that a claim was filed against you as the insured but then the filer withdrew the claim and your company closed the case.

However depending on what state you live in, realize that just because a claim was withdrawn, does not mean that this person may not be able to sue you in civil court.

I suggest contacting your insurance company and ask them specifically what this means. Document the dates of the conversation and to whom you spoke. Keep the paper for at least 2 years since that's typically the statute of limitations for a personal injury case.

Is this for a car accident? It more than likely means that the other party has chosen not to make a claim with your insurance company, and if you had no damage that you also chose not to make a claim with the insurance company. Even though it is closed, you mayhave the option to re-open in within a year to make a claim (same for the other party) - depending on your place of residence. You pay them a premium for their coverage/services - contact them if you are unsure. That's what they are there for.

The insurance company is saying that you (?) withdrew your claim and they didn't pay anything. If you didn't, call them. If some one filed a claim against you, you're off the hook.
