I heard a rumor that if you apply for the summer session instead of the fall session for a college/university that you will have a higher chance of getting accepted. Since I dont have a very good gpa I am hoping that this rumor is true and I should just start applying for the summer sessions instead.

Typically, it's applying for the spring semester that's seen as the second chance option for people who don't have the stats to make the first cut. Never heard of a school that had openings for summer session for freshman (scholarship athletes maybe, but not regular students).

Never heard of that one...but I have heard that transferring is typically much easier than getting in as a freshman
