Let's say that your gforce graphics card is a model for AGP 4X/8X. Then it will only work with a motherboard that HAS an AGP 4X/8X slot.

Does this make sense? (yes) Visit http://www.newegg.com and look for the exact motherboad that you need.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

If the card fits the AGP slot then yes you can. Download the drivers from the Nvidia website, because the drivers that come with Windows xp really suck.

No, and you do no longer decide for 2 picture enjoying cards engaged on an identical time. Your CPU is surely no longer waiting to interface with the two on an identical time. Sorry, the image RAM can't be mixed.

Yup, no problem. I assume you own a drill, set of screw drivers, hammer and the User Manual. It's easy when you know how.

you need to find out what type of card your motherboard supports. does it support PCI only (really old), AGP 4x or AGP 8X (somewhat older), or PCI-E (newest and fastest).

Nvidia has video cards for all of them, you just need to find the right interface.
