IM MAKING A STORY ABOUT SCIENCE FICTION BUT I NEED SOME IDEAS!

You are walking and almost run into another person coming the other way. You dodge to one side just as the other person dodges the same way. The two of you jump right and left a couple times, laugh, say, "shall we dance" and attempt to pass each other again. But no matter what one of you tries, the other one tries the same thing at the same moment, so you are both still stuck facing each other. So you get frustrated and a little angry and just turn around and start walking the other way. But so does the other guy. So you turn back, but so does he. He isn't playing games with you, he wants to pass you just as much as you want to pass him, but the both of you just happen to always try the same dodge to get past each other and bump again! You run all the way around the block to get around him on the next street, but as you round the corner, there he is running the other way in his vain attempt to do the same thing and pass you. You try another block, and so does he. You get in your car and almost have a head on collision with him in his car. Luckily you don't collide at 50 MPH, but neither can you get past each other. You consider getting on a plane but fear a deadly mid air collision. For some unknown reason, then entire world is divided into two parts, one part that you can be in and another part that he can be in. You don't know why, but it seems to be the case. From there, I don't know where to take the story. That is why I never tried to write it myself. That and I am not a writer.
