I believe true art (art from the soul) is never wrong, it symbolizes that which the artist feels or wishes to share. Even a brush stroke can have no more exact use than that of an opinion of the person who holds it.

No! Art is expressive and powerful. Many pieces of art from the Renaissance had underlying theme from government to just a single persons feelings. It can be used in very positive ways.

Art is a form of expression and a way to express yourself in a unique way to others. I believe that some people take things too far and have used very obscene mediums for example in the name of art.

Art as a concept is not wrong. However, the unique expressions thereof sometimes are. Just because one calls it art does not absolve one of ones social responsibilities.
Speech is not wrong. Wrongly slandering someone else is.
Wearing exotic under ware is not wrong. Wearing exotic under ware (and nothing else) to your ex-lover's wedding is.

Oh, absolutely! It's a sin to mimic God's creation; all art leads to idol worship and pornography, which are just wrong, wrong, WRONG!

No way! Art is life and life is art. It gives us a way to express ourselves....our hearts, minds, souls.... How could something so wonderful and diverse possibly be wrong?

I'm not a huge Dali fan. When I buy originals and prints, I look up what the artist was like and what they think their art represents. If they are nuts, I don''t buy the work.
