It is suggested to wait 6 weeks. Your body needs time to heal, dont rush it. Better safe then sorry, talk to your doc before you do if you truely dont want to wait.

Yes it is too early, unfortunately. If you had a c-section, you need to wait at least 4 weeks. If you had a vaginal birth, you need to wait at least 6 weeks. You should have a check up appointment with your doctor who is the best person to tell you if you are cleared to have sex again.

Too soon. Wait until after your postpartum check up.

I tried to do it too early after having my son, and tore a bunch of stitches and bled like there was no tomorrow. I also had to wait an ADDITIONAL six weeks to do it again. You've got a little more than three more weeks. Just wait.

If it is your first child you may not realize what you are in for....Sex after a child is very painful for a lot of women so I would wait until the 6 weeks is up!

You are supposed to wait 6 weeks and let your body heal.

It sounds a little early. You don't want to risk any infection. I think you should talk to your doc, have an exam, and let your doc be the best one to tell you this. Usually it's 6 weeks, but sometimes it's sooner sometimes it's longer.

Wait until your doctor gives you the all clear. If nothing else you have got to be sore and deserve a break.
