Hmmm...I like Samuel a lot..in fact if I didn't have a cousin named Samuel it would probably be on my list. Ummm..I honestly can't say that I like Dreighton however. Drew or Drake are nice substitutes.

Hmm, is that pronounced (dry-ton) or (dray-ton). Either way, it's cool. Very unusual and Samuel isn't that common either. It's a good old fashioned name.
Depending on the last name, you could turn it around to Samuel Derighton also.

No, truthfully, no. Dreighton sounds like dreadful. Samuel is OK, but you seriously need to rethink Dreighton. How about Leighton?

If you are considering naming a child with this name - consider this:
The name will be difficult to spell and pronounce. If "Dreighton" is a family name, then by all means the difficulty in both spelling and pronunciation would be forgiven. But if you are just searching for an unusual and "special" name for your child....keep searching.

Dreighton is a hard name How about Draygen. I have heard of this and its cool or Drayton if ya just like the name you could spell it easier. Different names are very common now so if you like it then do it!

I have have always wanted to name a little boy Brighton... if Dreighton sounds like that, I like it. You shouldnt care what others think. You are the one that is going to have to live with it.
