Yesterday, after it had snowed I looked out my window and saw almost a dozen cardinal birds in my front yard. I looked around and couldn't see them an any of the other yards next door or across the street. They were all over! The scene was spectacular and so peaceful. I immediately knew that this meant something. What does this mean?

It means the birds are hungry. Cardinals like Black oil sunflowers and raw peanuts.

It means that you had a lot of birds in your yard and they were hungry and looking for food.

It just means that they found some kind of food in your yard. Birds tend to do that in snowy weather.

It means they are hungry.

Get a feeder. Black oil sunflower seeds are the best for them, rich in oils and they love them.

Birds migrate at this time of year, or they are scrounging for food. I have tons of them at my feeders, from Cardinals to sparrows to finches and woodpeckers and everything in between.

Be kind to the little feathered fluffies and feed them.

MMM you live in the east
You may have bugs in your shrubs or berries or weeds that still have seeds.
Or you have been putting out feed for them.
It doesn't mean much.
I had quail ,,hundreds of them but decided to stop feeding them to make them follow their migration.
