I have....a books ending, a sad song, a poem....but, what I really want to ask is...what is the most unusual thing that's touched you enough to bring you to tears?

Wow...folks...what great answers! I love people who aren't afraid to express emotions! I want to give it one more day before I pick (if I can pick) a best. Right now, its nearly impossible! Thanks all for your honesty!

When my son talks to me and looks me in the eye.
Why? My son is Autistic and he has problems with his verbal skills as well as eye contact. So, just the fact that he is trying so hard to communicate anything to me is something that brings me to tears.

Well, I have cried at many embarrassing times, but foremost among them was when I started crying while watching Finding Nemo. The hardest I have cried from a book or anything like that is when I was reading New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, when Edward leaves, but I also cried at the end from joy when Edward told Bella how he felt and that he left to save her. Very touching!

In my life yes there have been many things that have brought me to tears and its very hard to make me cry although I am sensitive I have been known to .. Mostly things I have read that were emotional about a personal experience or something that touched me about another human being..but no not with books or a movie or any of that mine was from real life..

Two things for me. Whenever I hear Amazing Grace being played with "bag pipes". I am getting teary eyed as I write this, just kidding. One movie that I found very hard not to just ball by watching was Schedlier's List. I probably didn't spell that right. That was such a sad movie.

A High School Marching Band. It showed so much talent, eagerness, enthusiasm. You saw in that moment the delight of those young people and the uncertainty of what they might face in the future. It was as if I were looking at the ups and downs of life in one moment.

A children's book. I wish I remember the name, but it starts off with a mother holding her newborn son and at the end, he's holding her in his arms when she is elderly, frail and it's insinuated that she's ready to die. I want to cry thinking about it now.

A cartoon I was watching with my nephew, or my sisters new husband telling her he loved her one time right before going to the bathroom.

The sight of an eclipsed moon :).
And a tiny little crumpled note in my purse that my boyfriend had left there saying 'I would say I love you, but you know it, so what's the reason?'
