What ever happened so R&B singer Houston?

I already know he tried to kill himself by trying to cut out one of his eyes? Has anybody got any news on him?

Houston was taken off tourafter that, and returned home to his family in Los Angeles. Houston is set to play Orion in the 2006 movie Tournament of Dreams....so i guess he is ok...
