i am in central florida by a lake a big hole has been dug a small sandhill crane has died and some of the body parts have been ripped off what is it i think its a wolverine or an anaconda or boa constrictor that got loose do you have any idea what caused this?

There are no wolverines in Florida: they're much farther north.
Anacondas live in South America.
Boa constrictors live in Central and South America, and on some Caribbean islands, I think.

Isn;t it more likely to be an alligator, in Florida?

OK -- snakes like anacondas and boas do not dig holes -- and they swallow their prey whole, not rip it apart. It may simply be a large fox. If the bird was weak and small (or died naturally and was scavanged), a fox might catch it -- and they DO live in burrows.

Sounds to me like a scavenger. I am in Australia and a typical culprit would be a fox. The hole could be an attempt to bury the carcass for a later meal.

wolverines live up north michigan and they dont like people could be a gator
