I started being a Tubby fan, then I realized that he really doesn't have the recruiting skills that he needs to compete with the best. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a good coach, but he's not the right coach for Kentucky, with the slow down and pound it inside play. We used to never be out of the top 25, now we're barely in it. What do you think?

Tough question! Originally, I thought Tubby was a hand picked mediocre coach by Pitino and not a Great replacement as needed for head coach of UK. I have seen Tubby's coaching turn the CATS into a good team and fully credit his coaching for pulling off some very tough games in the past, but I just don't think he is a Great Coach UK demands.
I disagree with you that he isn't a good recruiter. Rondo was a great catch. Everybody and their brother was after him and Tubby closed the deal. Is their room for improvement? Sure. You are right that UK is barely holding on to a top 25 spot, but remember, UK was like #8 in the preseason! I don't think that the placement in the top 25 should be the issue for firing Tubby, but the fact that we haven't seen the final 4 in a very long time. If we don't see it this season I am in full agreement that he should be replaced. But perhaps a better question is WHO WOULD YOU REPLACE TUBBY WITH?
