I have this wicked pair of shoes that, when tried on in the store, fit marvelously but I brought them home and found that the end is too tight around my poor toes, any ideas on how to stretch them without destroying them?

There is a product called boot stretch that you can get at most shoe stores. You simply spray it on and put the shoe on and walk around a bit. This generally only needs to be done once but you can do it again it you don't get the desired fit at first.

Fill your shoes with wet with alcohol mashed newspaper, very tight; put them in the sun or in a warm place till the alcohol evaporates; let them be for one week, more or less. Once in a while, force the paper more tighter.
It will do the trick.
Good luck.
