My husband passed away and I received an email from a friend I haven't spoken to in years. The address on her email won't go through. Is there anything I can do to try and find her email address?

You will have to give your friend a call. You see, people change their internet service and email address all the time. They never think about the idea of getting a more permanent one for FREE at a place like http://mail.yahoo.com I've had my email account since 1997.

Sorry to hear of your loss. You will need to get in touch with many of your good friends again.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

Have you tried to return the email by clicking on the email that you received, then click on the reply button. That way you are at least using the correct email address. Hope this helps.

Her addy is probably no longer working or she switched mail servers. You can do a people search if you know her name and approximately where she lives. Type people search in your search box, there are tons of them or use the yahoo people search. By the way, did you use the reply button to answer her e mail? If not, try it first.

if they sent you an e-mail then try doing a 'respond' rather than writing a new e-mail

that will gaurantee that the e-mail address is entered correctly

Her e-mail may be full or maybe the e-mail was typed in wrong. Try those few things or maybe if you know her full name you can look her up on www.zabasearch.com if she is in the U.S.A. Hope this helps
