Genetics don't change, and so far as I know there's not surgery to insert ovaries or a uterus. The genes will be the same, and the insides will be the same (daily hormones are used to "replace" the function of the ovaries). The outer genitalia can be changed to fool even a gynecologist, and everything else on the outside can be changed.

Okay, "transvestite" literally means cross-dresser, so it doesn't really have much to do with their sexual preference. You could very likely find a biological male who is feminine and enjoys cross-dressing, but has no interest in other men. The whole topic is a lot more complicated than most people realize... the trans-gender spectrum is very complex. Here's the basics of what I know. 1. people all have a gender assigned at birth (typically based on the appearance of genitalia): either male or female. I am not sure how they classify hermaphrodites. 2. people all have a gender identity, that is, they identify themselves as fitting a gender category: masculine, feminine, or androgynous 3. People all have a sexual identity: homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual, and pan-sexual (there are probably others that I am overlooking. The biggest reason that you may be thinking that most transvestites are gay is because of society. Straight men are often so afraid that they will discover that they are gay that they will not explore themselves. Society makes it appear that men may only be masculine if they are straight, all the feminine ones are gay, and all cross-dressers are feminine. Society says that you must be male or female, masculine or feminine, straight or gay (even bisexuals are often seen as just experimenting and really are either hetero or homo). Those guys are out there, you just have to find them. My only concern is that it sort of sounds like you're hunting for guys in notoriously homosexual social circles. You may want to see who's checking out mint green bedspreads at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, instead. I married a guy who's androgynous, and more feminine than me at times, but we both enjoy lavendar bubble baths together... and that's what's important, isn't it? finding someone that gets you on a level that no one else can...

Although you CANNOT Change your DNA, that's not to say your DNA isn't already different than what your outside packages displays.
Actually I think you might be surprised to find that about half of all Male to Female TransGENDERS are in fact chromosomally XX, another percentage are actually XXY, some are XYY and some are even XO
Try doing a bit of research on it.
And NO male to female transGENDERS cannot become pregnant. They lack OVARIES to produce ovum.

You will get a Y. The technology for the changes a person goes through has not reached the genetic level yet. While this person may look female and have female parts now, they do not produce ovums (eggs) and cannot get pregnant with their own biological child. I have heard that it may be possible for her to carry another woman's fertilized egg. Such as a surrogate mother does. But I have not heard of any success stories.
BTW the proper term for someone who is transitioning to a different sex is Transgender. A transvestite is someone who dresses as the opposite sex for sexual purposes and does not want to become the opposite sex.

The genetic make up of a transvestite will not change. As for getting pregnant, it may one day be possible through a transplant perhaps, but as of yet? NO, no pregnancies.

Transvestites only dress as the opposite sex. They are not the same as a transgendered individual.
BTW there are cases of "natural" people that have the "wrong" chromosomes.

A transvestite is simply someone who wears the opposite sex's clothing.
I believe you mean a transsexual. And no, it'll still be a Y. And pregnancy is impossible for transsexuals, seeing as they don't have a womb.

being a transvestite does not change your dna. you are born with your dna and that will stay with you forever. Your dna is your genetic code and nothing will ever change that.

You can change the physical and hormonal attributes of a person, but you cannot change their DNA.
i'm also saying this with confidence that no, they cannot bear children, but i guess there is a .001% doubt in my mind, that perhaps they can.
