what is your favorite type of barbie?

okay i am way to old for barbie but i am saying like back in the day.

First, you are not too old for Barbie. There are successful collectors in their teens up into their senior years. They are professionals and some just retired people. Let us get this out of the way. Too old is an excuse but not a reality. You just do not have a passion for Barbie as you did when younger. Some of us however do. That does not make you any less or more mature than we who are older. My favorite one was one that had a mini computer that could be hooked up to the desktop PC. Put the CD in and choose the data that would be sent to the mini one that sat in front of that Barbie. The data was then transmitted through the air into the big jewel on the necklace of the doll. This was relayed to the chip inside which stored it. Once stored, it could be taken anywhere. The switch on the back activated the play back of data selections. The mouth moved in harmony with the words as if the doll was actually talking. The voice was coming from the speaker in the chest area. It had batteries in the back and in one leg. GI Joe never had that ability. That was amazing technology. By the way, I still have it and in working condition. It hopefully will be passed down after my death to my family to use as they see fit.
