Probably explode due to moisture content. Try it with a fresh egg broken into a glass cup (no shell). Give it about 2 minutes and see what stays in the cup. Be prepared to clean up the microwave.

They would die a horrible death by being cooked form the inside out. Micro waves speed up molecules causing them to hit each other and create heat through friction. Sorry for the science lesson but God that would be an awful way for any animal to go. I just hope some other nutter reading your question doesn't get any ideas themselves!

A microwave oven works by passing microwave radiation, usually at a frequency of 2450 MHz (a wavelength of 12.24 cm), through food, Water, fat, and sugar molecules, and heats it up. Since the lil animal has fat, water and soluble sugar, it would be like burning from the inside out.
Note
please DONT try this on any living thing, cos this would be so so so cruel, try reading more about microwave radiation

There would be rat guts all over your microwave, and you'd go to Hell for doing such a horrible inhumane thing.

They would literally begin to be cooked alive. The microwave cooks bi bombarding anything in it with high energy microwaves that excite the molecules in said subject causing them to generate excess heat. "Fluffy" would literally begin to boil from the inside out. Death would not be quick and merciful. It is likely to take several seconds before their boiling blood would cause an aneurysm.

I heard a story about a woman who shampooed her small dog then put it a microwave to dry it off... the poor thing was cooked; from ther inside out. I have also heard of men working on microwave receiving antenna dishes getting their guts cooked. There's your answer !!

It would cook it. Potentially it could explode...but doubt it.
If you did that as well you would probably be racked with guilt as well for at least a couple of days.
